Parenting Class

Mondays, 5-6:30pm, New additional class Saturdays 9:30-11 AM!

A free class, led by Helpline Youth Counseling every Monday. Learn about effective parenting skills, anger management and Q&A.

Nar-Anon in English

Every Monday, 6-7:30pm

This Nar-Anon Group in English meets weekly to discuss the trials, tribulations and overcomings of the struggles of being involved with addiction.

Military & Veteran Affairs Office Hours

Every Wednesday and Thursday 8AM-4PM

Meet with a Los Angeles County VA representative for all of your military questions and concerns. No appointment necessary. Last check-in at 2 PM. Please visit mva.lacounty.gov for more information on additional locations and services offered in the surrounding area.

Community Showers

2nd & 3rd Fridays 9AM-1PM

Mobile showers, homeless resources and hygiene kits available on the 2nd and 3rd Friday of the month from 9am-1pm. In partnership with several homeless agencies and 4th District Supervisor Janice Hahn. 

Year Around Gardening Club

2nd Tuesday of the Month 9AM-1PM

Want to learn more on all things gardening? Join this club which meets monthly from 9-1pm on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. A great way to get involved in the community and learn something new! 

CEA-HOW

This compassionate group is for anyone suffering from compulsive eating, anorexia, and bulimia, they are a fellowship of individuals who, through shared experience, strength and hope are recovering

Al-Anon English

Gentle Yoga

Every Monday, 10:00AM-11:00AM

Formerly known as Body Movement & Awareness, join Melanie for this free program offered to students who want to practice gentle stretches, standing poses and mat exercises. Modifications are available for seniors or those with mobility impairments. Please bring water and yoga mat.

South Whittier Community Advisory Council Meeting

3rd Tuesday, Every Other Month, 6:30PM-8PM

Join the Community Advisory Council to speak up for you and your community! Voice your concerns, questions, and comments with notable community organizations to get results. Led by the Sheriff's Department and Sheriff's Volunteer Program at the LCP Constitution Hall.
